Way to go, Raman! Raman Prasad, of Brooklyn, NY, has created a super-nifty website chock-full of SCD recipes from the listserves. While many of the recipes appear here on scdiet.org, he may, in fact, have added some of his own. Check out scdrecipe.com!!Here is Raman's welcome letter to the SCD listserve:
Subject: New Website: SCDRecipe.com
To: SCD-list@longisland.com
Hello everyone! I've added another site to the growing number of scd pages: www.scdrecipe.com
It's a site made to complement
scdiet.org and healingcrow.com
as well as provide a place for me
to put up some random notes:)
Enjoy the website and let me know
if you'd like anything added (or
taken away).
By the way, if anyone in the NYC
area is interested in meeting, drop
an e-mail.
Take care,
Raman
(3 years SCD)

Check this out: An article on 7/13/2000 in The Washington Post contains interesting research indicating that the causes of disease were not genetic, but rather, environmental. While the research dealt primarily with cancers,
much of it may also be of assistance in understanding IBD.

Effective today, the Research section is live (it was empty for the last week). We'll be back-filling it with lots of older articles but there is plenty of reading there right now. Enjoy!
we've had 1400 hits on the home page alone since 7/11

Folks,
the new design of www.scdiet.org has been "launched". I use quote marks because we recognize that there is still a bit of work to do which we had not realized, but we felt that there was no need to keep everyone waiting.
You will notice that everything (350+ html files) has been organized into one of eight categories. You should be able to find everything that is "edited, cleaned, and polished" in one of the 7 new categories; everthing "as it was in the old design" is still available in the "Archives" section. Please try to find what you are after in the "new" sections first. :-)
If you have any OLD LINKS to pages and content that used to appear here you will need to update them in your notes, your bookmarks, your instructions to others, etc. We have a Search function which is quite nifty, so use it! :-)
Please be patient while we complete a few "fixes" here and there. We have noticed a few broken links, for example. Nevertheless, please use the Feedback form to email Mike with any suggestions regarding content or links (broken or new ones to add).
Cheers,
Mike and Mik
(current hit stats @ 1340898 visitors and counting)
PS: the "mouseovers" on the left side of this do not work the way they do on the rest of the site due to a Blogger javascript parsing problem. Go ahead and use the links anyway--they still work!
