Recipe section mini-update:
It has come to the attention of the webmasters that some of the recipes are not completely "SCD-legal". Our recipes are collected from the SCD listserve. For example, a recipe was found to use a brand-name chicken broth (which, upon review, contained SCD-illegal soy powder as a thickener); this recipe has been corrected. We have designed a two-phase major update to the recipe section. Phase One, the following header will appear on all recipe section pages until Phase Two is complete: "If there is any contradiction between instructions in Breaking the Vicious Cycle and any recipe in these archives, kindly adhere to what the book states." Phase Two: volunteers will review each recipe and submit corrections to the webmasters for updating. We apologize for any confusion these shared recipes may have caused. Contact the webmasters if you would like to be one of our recipe review volunteers. Thanks!
